Finished in red, blue, silver, and gold, and white enamel, this three-dimensional keepsake features José Antonio Navarro, the second in the Republic of Texas Heroes series by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT). José Antonio Navarro was one of the first signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence, in early March, 1836, in Washington-on-the-Brazos that announced and explain the reason for separation from Mexico. Navarro served as a delegate at the convention that wrote Texas's new constitution. In 1838 he was elected to the Texas Congress.
